Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Quantarell, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Quantarell is a micro-funding platform that allows creators to set specific funding goals and receive contributions from supporters. We facilitate the connection between creators and supporters but do not directly process payments - all payment processing is handled by Stripe.

3. Account Registration

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use creator features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and receive contributions.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep your profile up to date.

You may not create multiple accounts or transfer your account to another person.

4. Creator Responsibilities

As a creator, you agree to use contributions for the stated purpose of your goal.

You are responsible for fulfilling any promises or commitments made in your goal description.

You must not create goals for illegal activities, fraud, or content that violates these terms.

You are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from contributions received.

5. Supporter Responsibilities

Contributions are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Supporters acknowledge that contributions are not investments and do not entitle them to equity, ownership, or returns.

Supporters are responsible for reviewing goal details before contributing.

6. Payments & Fees

Quantarell charges zero platform fees. The only fees are Stripe's standard payment processing fees (currently 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction), which are deducted from each contribution.

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly as selected. You may cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the billing period.

All amounts are in US dollars unless otherwise specified.

7. Prohibited Content

You may not use Quantarell to fund or promote: illegal activities, violence or threats, harassment or hate speech, adult or explicit content, multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes, misleading or fraudulent campaigns.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms and to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in prohibited activities.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create and upload to Quantarell. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute your content within the platform.

The Quantarell name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property and may not be used without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Quantarell is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that goals will be funded or that the platform will be available without interruption.

We are not responsible for disputes between creators and supporters, the accuracy of goal descriptions or creator claims, or any damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your settings. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your data.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware.
