Frequently Asked Questions
What happens after I reach 3 goals on the free tier?
Goals that have received contributions count toward your limit permanently. You can delete unfunded goals to free up slots, but once 3 goals have been funded you'll need Premium to create more.
How do I receive payments?
You add your own payment links - PayPal, Ko-fi, Stripe Payment Link, Payoneer, and more. Supporters pay you directly through those. Quantarell takes zero cut.
Are there any hidden fees?
Quantarell charges zero fees on contributions. Your chosen payment provider (PayPal, Stripe, Ko-fi, etc.) charges their own fees according to their terms. Premium subscription is $50/year for unlimited goals, uploads, and analytics.
Can I cancel my premium subscription?
Yes, anytime. You'll keep premium features until the end of your billing period.
Is Quantarell an alternative to Patreon?
Not really. Patreon is built around recurring monthly memberships - your audience pays you every month for ongoing access. Quantarell is for specific, one-time goals: $50 for art supplies, $3,000 for a documentary trip. If you want continuous support, use Patreon; if you want to fund something specific, use Quantarell.
Is Quantarell an alternative to Kickstarter?
Not really. Kickstarter runs all-or-nothing product launch campaigns with reward tiers and delivery timelines. Quantarell is simpler: set a goal, share a link, receive contributions as they come in. No tiers, no all-or-nothing threshold, no reward fulfillment.
Is Quantarell an alternative to GoFundMe?
Not really. GoFundMe is built for personal causes and emergencies. Quantarell is for creators - YouTubers, developers, podcasters, artists, streamers, writers - funding specific projects or equipment.
Is Quantarell an alternative to Buy Me a Coffee or Ko-fi?
Closer, yes. The main differences: we never take a cut of contributions (100% goes to you, minus whatever your payment provider charges), we focus on specific one-time goals rather than tip jars or memberships, and you can keep using Ko-fi or BMAC as your payment provider through Quantarell if you like.
